Ingredients
✨ 6 tablespoons of AOVE Peña Luna Hojiblanca EVOO
☁️ 130g wheat flour
🧂 3/4 teaspoon salt
☁️ 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
🍫 25g cocoa powder
☕ 60ml boiling water + tablespoon instant coffee
🍫 90ml melted 80% cocoa chocolate
🥚 1 egg size L
🍫 90g milk chocolate (to make chocolate chips)
🧂 Salt flakes
-Vanilla essence to taste
-165g brown sugar
-65g white sugar
-50g walnuts
Elaboration
1-Preheat the oven to 175°C.
2-Mix dry ingredients except cocoa and sugars. Set aside.
3-In another bowl, mix the cocoa powder with the water and coffee mixture.
4-Incorporate the 80% melted chocolate, the egg and the vanilla.
5-Add sugars.
6-Dispense the dry ingredients mixture and mix with encircling motions.
7-Cut the milk chocolate bar and incorporate it, saving a little for later.
8-Pour into a square baking tin lined with baking paper.
9-Place the nuts and milk chocolate on top.
10-Bake for 20 minutes or until firm to the touch.
11-Sprinkle with salt flakes to taste.
Our Recommendation: Serve still a little warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous drizzle of our EVOO!
