Ingredients
Feta cheese 🧀
Honey 🍯
Walnuts 🌰
Good bread 🥖
Spinach or the vegetable you prefer 🥬
Dried figs 🍈
Elaboration
1- Prepare the feta cheese:
- Use a block of Greek feta cheese, very important so it doesn't break down in the oven!
- Cut it shallowly so it absorbs all the good stuff.
- Mix our Hojiblanca oil with a little honey and coat the cheese.
2-Bake the cheese:
- Preheat the oven with grill to 220°C.
- Line a tray with aluminum foil and place the cheese with the EVOO and honey mixture.
- Bake until golden and bubbling.
3-Prepare the bread:
- Cut the best bread you have to make toast.
- Add oil and bake until crispy.
4-Assemble the salad:
- Use spinach or your favorite green.
- Add dried figs, walnuts and your favorite toppings.
- Place the baked feta cubes with honey on top.
5-Serve:
Spread the feta cubes on the toast, add more Hojiblanca oil, a little salt and that's it!
